Since 2007 student volunteers for the GYST have built solar powered electrical systems, water purifiers and conducted trainings for schools, communities and medical care facilities. We have completed projects in 16 villages across western Thailand and in Haiti.

The GYST is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation. 95% of all donations go directly to equipment and training program costs in the remote communities where we volunteer. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible. All donors will be given a receipt.

• A $100 donation will enable the GYST to purchase the components with which to build an ultraviolet water purifier. The UV purifiers disinfect water at a rate of 1 gallon per minute.
  
  
• A $605 donation will purchase one 130-watt solar panel.
  
  
  
  
• A $130 donation will purchase a solar deep cycle battery.
  
  
  
  
• A $190 donation will purchase a solar charge controller.
  
  
  
  
• A gift of $3200 will enable the volunteers of the GYST to build a solar-powered electrical system for a boarding school of more than 100 students.
